Spring in NYC

It's summer now, but here are some photos that I took over the last month.

From the top:

  1. The Japanese-style dumplings at XO Kitchen in Chinatown, at the corner of Hester and Elizabeth. 6 dumplings for $3.50. While I acknowledge the utter insanity of my next statement, this is my single favorite item on any menu in New York City. Here’s a yelp link. I don’t find any of the food on the massive menu very good other than the dumplings.
  2. The bacon and egg mazemen at Yuji Ramen in the Bowery Whole Foods. Arguably my favorite ramen in NYC and it’s brothless! Mind blown. The noodles are the game changer here. Still can’t believe food of this quality is in a grocery store food court.
  3. A girl enjoying the bubble lady in Washington Square Park.
  4. A panorama of the Jersey skyline from the west side of Manhattan. Click through for a bigger version. I’m a sucker for a good panorama.
